Flights leave from Hamburg Airport every day (except Mondays) at 10:05 a.m. and 7:55 p.m. Flight time is one hour and forty minutes.
For all those travellers setting off in search of white beaches, pristine tropical forests and fascinating nature reserves Ghana Airways offers a non-stop service to Accra. The Ghanese national airline flies to the West African capital every Tuesday; the carrier's DC 10 leaves Hamburg at 11:00 a.m. and arrives in Accra six and a half hours later. The return flight stops over in Düsseldorf.
Fans of the Cologne Cathedral and Kölsch – the local beer – can fly Hapag Lloyd Express up to four times a day to Cologne. Flights depart at 8:10 a.m. (except Sundays), 11:35 a.m. (only Sundays), 5:30 p.m. (daily) and 8:25 p.m. (except Saturdays). A mere hour later passengers hear "Ready for landing" as the aircraft touches down in the capital of Germany's carnival scene.
The popular scheduled services to the exhibition city Leipzig and the capital of Saxony, Dresden, remain unaltered. Cirrus Airlines will be operating the Lufthansa flights previously operated by Augsburg Airways. Cirrus also flies to Mannheim and Saarbrücken from Hamburg.
